San Remo Ballroom is the function venue Melbourne has come to know and love for quality events and parties that are forever etched in the memory, and New Years Eve 2011 will be no different. The reason for this lies in the resurgence of an old San Remo Ballroom favourite.

On August 28, 2010, after more than 30 years, Sergio G and the Flippers returned to San Remo Ballroom for a Reunion Night.

The night was reminiscent of those through the 1960′s and 70′s, and the memories began to flow as the Flippers turned back the clock with songs like ‘Parole’, ‘Rose Rosse’, ‘Calabria Mia’ and ‘La Notte’. With more than 500 people in attendance, our function venue was filled with loud applause and non-stop dancing.

MC Joe Mandica and his band ‘Legends’ also provided more recent hits throughout the night, creating the perfect balance of old and new. Again, the people responded with great enthusiasm.
